Pilates is a mind-body discipline, with a strong emphasis on what are often referred to as the "deep core stabilisers", and which Joseph Pilates termed "the powerhouse". Nearly 100 years after its inception, the Pilates method is still going strong as the great results seen by students speak for themselves.
Practiced regularly, Pilates can help relieve back and neck pain; improve posture, breathing and immunity; and increase energy levels.
