Pilates is a mind-body discipline, with a strong emphasis on what are often referred to as the "deep core stabilisers", and which Joseph Pilates termed "the powerhouse". A century after its inception, the Pilates method is still going strong as the great results seen by students keep people coming back for more.

Practiced regularly, Pilates can help relieve back and neck pain; improve posture and breathing; and increase energy levels. On top of all that, it's a full-body workout that increases functional strength and mobility. With an emphasis on control, awareness, breath, and mind-body connection, you can expect to feel as though you're working, while also feeling calm and focused.
Michelle's classes are fun and friendly, and are suitable for all ages and levels of fitness, offering multiple options so that every student is safe yet challenged in their practice.

All classes are held at the Michelle Keenan Wellness studio, at 15 Martyn St, Waiuku, a calm and inviting space to take a breather from your busy day and enjoy time out just for yourself.
