Do you want to move better, have less aches, and feel more energetic? My small group classes are fun and friendly, and are suitable for all ages and levels of fitness, offering multiple options so that every student is safe yet challenged in their practice. The studio is a relaxed and inviting space to take a breather from your busy day and enjoy time out just for yourself. There's no loud music and no crowds - you and your small group are the only ones there so there are no distractions. You can focus on your practice, and I can focus on you!
Feeling stiff and tired is pretty common as we get older, but it's not inevitable! Moving your body with awareness and precision, while breathing fully and consciously, regulates your nervous system and builds functional strength and mobility. Result? More energy, healthier joints, improved posture, breathing, and balance, as well as sharper mental focus, clarity, and greater resilience - all of which give you a better quality of life through mid-life and beyond.

Pilates is a full-body movement system with an emphasis on control, awareness, breath, and mind-body connection. Expect to feel as though you're working, while also feeling calm and focused.

STUDIO ESSENTIALS AND STUDIO STRENGTH CLASSES

In Studio Essentials you'll build strength and mobility, and improve balance, control, and core stability.
In this class you'll use the Pilates combo chair, springboard, and Pilates arc, and you may also use the foam roller, magic circle, and other small apparatus.

Classes are multi-level, with only four students per class so you get individualised attention and instruction while working to your own ability.

Studio Strength is a circuit-style class, capped at 5 students, where you'll move around different stations including reformer, arc, springboard, combo chair, and mat, and you may also use the foam roller, magic circle, and other small apparatus.

PILATES MAT CLASSES

On the mat is where it all started for Joseph Pilates - he developed the matwork before he invented any of his specialised apparatus, and it's often referred to as "the jewel of Pilates".

Mat classes use your own bodyweight for resistance and may also include straps, poles, and other small apparatus to challenge or support you.
